The AIM of our Luncheon Club
The aim of the Cromwell Probus (Luncheon) Club was to bring together
retired or semi-retired local business people for an informal monthly
enjoyable lunch in convivial surroundings. Ideally diners should have
come from a role in business or the Armed Forces who wished to socialise
with like minded people. Partners were always welcome and encouraged
to join the diners at these lunches in their own right. In this way,
we could fulfil our aim, in the true spirit of Probus everywhere,
that would appeal to existing diners and encourage potential new ones
to join us irrespective of age or gender.
